الدب الصغير، الدب الصغير، ماذا ترى؟

My one-year-old loves the call-and-response rhythm; we've already read it five times today. The pictures are classic Eric Carle, bright and engaging for little eyes.

The board pages are thick enough that my toddler can turn them without tearing anything, which is a big deal at this stage. We read the call-and-response part every night and she's started making the animal sounds before I even finish the line.

My 14-month-old now grabs this book and starts "reading" the sing-song rhythm along with me, which is adorable. The call-and-response text makes it easy for him to chime in, and the animals are all ones we can point to on our walks.
