The board book pages are thick enough that my toddler can turn them without tearing anything, which is a relief after wrecking our paper copy. The 75th-anniversary edition feels like it'll actually survive a few more kids.

I've read this bedtime story so many times I can recite it from memory, and the board book pages have survived my toddler's enthusiastic page-turning without a single tear. The 75th-anniversary edition with the sturdy pages was worth replacing our battered paperback.

My two-year-old asks for this one every night, and I don't mind reading it over and over. The 75th-anniversary edition feels well made, and the sturdy pages have survived plenty of enthusiastic page-turning.
