The Clek Oobr is a high-back booster seat rated a Best Bet by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 10+ years in a row. Engineered with a magnesium frame, energy-absorbing EPP foam headrest, and a steel base sub-structure with integrated Rigid-LATCH connectors, the Oobr protects from all angles — and its narrow design makes 3-across seating easy. The Highlands Ziip fabric is free of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants. Proudly designed, engineered, and made in Canada.
Elemental Safety System
The Oobr’s Elemental Safety System works from every direction. Belt guides attached to the adjustable headrest ensure proper shoulder and hip belt fit every time, while an energy-absorbing foam layer reduces force transferred to the child in a side-impact collision. The structural headrest features deep side wings connected to the magnesium frame via steel rods to prevent twisting and improve head protection. The magnesium frame itself contains the torso during side-impact and protects against vehicle intrusion. Rigid-LATCH locks the seat firmly in place when occupied — and prevents it from becoming a projectile when empty.
Comfort & Convenience
The Oobr reclines up to 12° for sleeping comfort when anchored, and the removable seat cushion features a hand-washable cover for easy cleaning. A detachable, dishwasher-safe cup holder fits either side of the seat. GREENGUARD Select Certified fabrics are anti-microbial and resistant to stains, moisture, and odor.
Fabric & Certifications
The Highlands Ziip fabric carries no added brominated or chlorinated flame retardants and is PFOA-free, PFOS-free, PFC-free, and PFAS-free. It is fluorine-free and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified.
