The rib knit is thick enough that it doesn't go see-through when she crawls, which was my main worry with leggings this thin. Washed them cold and laid flat to dry like the tag says and they kept their shape perfectly.
The elastic waistband actually stays put without digging into my daughter's tummy, which was my main worry. After three washes (cold, laid flat to dry) the poppy color hasn't faded at all.
