Lily V. ★★★★★

The hardcover binding feels sturdy and the pages have a nice weight, perfect for reading aloud to my son. The story of Max's wild rumpus still captures his imagination every time.

Lily H. ★★★★★

The Caldecott-winning illustrations look even better in this oversized hardcover format, and my 4-year-old asks for it every night now. Sendak's story holds up decades later, and the pages feel thick enough to survive a toddler's enthusiasm.

Lily G. ★★★★★

The hardcover binding feels sturdy enough to survive nightly readings, and the Caldecott-winning illustrations still hold my kid's attention better than any tablet. Max's journey to the island of wild things has become our bedtime ritual.
