My 2-year-old actually sits still for these, which says a lot. Each book focuses on a different nature adventure, and the pages are thick enough that she can turn them herself without tearing anything. The speech-pathologist angle shows too, since the words are simple but not boring.

The watercolor illustrations are what sold me, and they're even prettier in person than the listing photos. My two-year-old points at the animals on every page, and I've noticed her picking up new words from the simple repetitive text. Three sturdy board books for this price feels like a steal.
