The soy ink and FSC paper made me feel good about buying this—the picnic story is sweet and my toddler asks for it every night.
My daughter keeps picking this one for bedtime, and I think the paper quality is what gets me every time — it's thick and matte, not that flimsy glossy stuff. Knowing the ink is soy-based makes me feel a little better about her chewing the corners.
The illustrations are what sold me, and knowing it's printed on FSC-certified paper with soy ink makes it an easy pick for our shelf. My four-year-old keeps pointing out the little animals on every page.
