My toddler loves tracing the seashells on each page — the illustrations feel almost like a mini ocean adventure. The sturdy board format holds up well to daily use.
The seaside illustrations are what sold me — the colors are soft enough for bedtime but still bright enough to hold my toddler's attention. The board pages are thick and chunky, which is perfect since my 9-month-old gnaws on everything these days.
My 14-month-old actually sits still for this one, which says a lot since most board books end up thrown across the room. The thick pages survive her teething phase, and she loves pointing at the sea creatures on each letter page.
