My 4-year-old actually asks for this one by name now, which never happens with bedtime books. The way the tickle monster sneaks up page by page gets her giggling before we even finish, and it's become our little ritual.

The page where the monster's fingers wiggle is the one that gets my daughter every single time, she shrieks with laughter and asks for it again. Reading it aloud actually feels fun for me too, which I didn't expect from a kids' book.

My toddler giggles before we even reach the last page, and the monster’s visit from Planet Tickle always turns storytime into a wrestling match of pure joy. The read-aloud rhythm keeps her engaged from start to finish, and I love that it’s built around connection rather than just sitting still.
