My baby actually giggles and reaches for the plush arms every time we open it, and the simple text keeps her attention for the whole lap read. It’s sturdy enough to survive being chewed on, too, which is the real test.
The plush arms on this board book are so soft that my toddler pets them while I read. The text is short enough that she stays engaged through the whole thing, which never happens with her other books.
My 8-month-old grabs the little plush paws every time we read this, and the board pages have survived plenty of chewing already. The text is short enough that she stays interested till the last page.
