My toddler now points out the Seattle skyline every time we get to that page, which honestly surprised me for a board book. The illustrations are bright without being busy, so it works as a bedtime read too.

The Mt. Bachelor skiing page has become my daughter's favorite — she makes little swooshing sounds every time we turn to it. The board book pages are thick enough to survive her enthusiastic turning, which is saying something.

My toddler points at the Seattle skyline page every single night and babbles about the "big city," and I love that the destinations are real places we can actually visit someday. The Mt. Bachelor skiing scene is what finally got my older kid interested in reading to his little sister.
